The Trip of a Lifetime

“Guess  what!”, my dad said to me. I “answered,What? What?”. Right then I knew we were going somewhere, I didn’t know where, I just knew. Then my dad said, “We’re going to Oklahoma!”. I asked where in Oklahoma, but he wouldn’t tell me. Before I knew it we were on our way there.

After being asleep for about 2 hours I saw a sign that said: Welcome to Brokenbow, Oklahoma!. That’s when I knew we were going to Beavers Bend! I was so excited! My parents had promised my brother and I over and over again that we would be coming here. I thought to myself, “Finally! We get to come here!”.

Next thing I knew we were already in our cabin. It was one of the nicest places I had ever  seen. After we unpacked our bags, we sat down and turned on the TV. Once we got tired of watching TV, we put in a movie in the Blue-Ray player and nothing happened. Even though we had changed the TV to the movie player. We were like. “What!?”. Then we waited a few more minutes and nothing happened. It took us a while to realize that the Blue-Ray player wasn’t even plugged in. so we plugged it in and watched, I Am Number Four.

The next day we went to the Beavers Bend Marina and rented a boat. We had brought our tube so we could get to tubing faster. After my brother went it was my turn. I told my dad to go as fast as the boat could go. After flying everywhere I got tired of doing the same stuff over and over again. Then we swam in the lake for a little while.

Once we got back from the lake we all went straight to the jacuzzi. We spent about 30 minutes to and hour in there. Then we all took our showers, had dinner, and went to bed.

Unfortunately the next morning we had to leave. So we packed up and headed for the long drive home. Before I knew it, we already back and unpacking our bags.
